I was here
I said I’d be here for you over the weekend. I didn’t say I’d actually write anything. After all, that porch wasn’t going to fix itself (dammit). And speaking of the porch, while we didn’t get as much done as we planned, we did replace the deck and make it safe for postal employees, visiting kin, and cookie selling kids. Next free weekend, we make it pretty. My middle-aged, out of shape body hurts all over.
